another win!
Happy to announce that my image "Horse and Canadair" is the Black & White Photography Award Winner of The Independent Photographer).
Here's the comment of the competition judge Francesco Merlini: “To me photography reaches its highest level when the camera impress those epiphanies that bring truth into a new, magical dimension. Very short instants, so difficult to immortalise, when material elements of this world act together in such a way to create something that exceed the boundaries of rational thinking. The result is an image that puts the audience in awe and to me, at a time where people seem anaesthetised, it is something really powerful and precious that highlights the need for photography now more than ever.”

Top selection!
My picture of the roman ghetto is among the winning images at the Life Framer contest, Street Photography theme, judged by the Magnum photographer David Alan Harvey. Here's part of his comment to the photograph:
"(...) she creates a beautiful scene; the slivers of light drawing the eye down to this lone figure, and the limited colour palette resulting in a strong and effervescent aesthetic".

my photograph has been awarded with a Mark Of Excellence on I SHOT IT Landscape competition 2017/2.
Here's the judges comment:
"I love the abstract shapes and textures and the parallel dividing lines. You are close to having a winning shot. Minimal views like this are indeed so difficult to succeed. Your idea and vision are superb, you have created an image without a solid subject, have played with shape and movement, taking your photography into an original art form. And although this photograph’s strength might come from the colours and tones their saturation has somewhat subtracted from that."
